The most romantic couple of all time in the Bollywood

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan and his female protagonist in movies like ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Khabhi Khushi Khabhi Gham’ Kajol are voted as the most romantic couple of all time in the Bollywood. The poll was conducted by Sanona, the UK’s largest online Pay-Per-View Indian movie portal.
Sharukh and Kajol also overcame bollywood’s the most iconic couples from last three decades like Amitabh bachchan and Rekha, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Rajkapoor and Nargis. They won the poll for their scorching chemistry on the screen in the Bollywood’s all-time classic ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’.
In the movie the couple play two young indian’s who fall in love during a eurotrip. The climax scene where Kajol runs to get on to the train for Shahrukh still gives goose bumps to fans while watching.
“There was somewhat of a gap between ShahRukh Khan and Kajol, and the rest. This shows that they really have captivated the hearts of millions in the past 20 years since first coming together in ‘Baazigar’ (1993). Perhaps they are the only on-screen couple who can actually draw audiences on the basis on them being in a movie together,” said Adam Davies, CEO of Sanona.
Shahrukh Khan also made it to top ten with another co-star Rani Mukherjee and showed that he is the bollywood’s king of romance.
Other romantic couples who have made it into top 10 include Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani, Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in Kaminey, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in ‘Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon’.

Tension between Sonam Kapoor & Deepika Padukone again?

If buzz is to be gone by, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor refused an offer to appear on a popular chat show. Reports suggest that despite being offered big bucks, both the actor refused to make an appearance together. However, they were OK with appearing individually.
A source reveals, “They got huge flack for their appearance on ‘Koffee with Karan’. That episode got them both lof of negative publicity. And even though they both have moved on and matured from that experience, they still are not ready to take that risk. Sonam and Deepika used to hang out and be friends at that period, but it isn’t the same anymore. In fact Sonam is not even friends with her ex co-star Ranbir Kapoor anymore.”
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone has no regrets about the condom comment she made on Ranbir Kapoor, on the popular chat show Koffee With Karan. Deepika also gave a valid reason for having no regrets about the same.
She said, “The reason why I don’t regret at all is because it was all said in a good humour and media blew it out of the proportion.”
Just to recollect, post break up with Ranbir, Deepika along with actress Sonam Kapoor had very badly slammed Ranbir on KJo’s show.

Salman Khan calls Valentine’s Day a gimmick

Salman Khan doesn’t believe in the whole concept of Valentine’s Day. He recently revealed in an interview that Feb 14 is just another gimmick to sell roses and cards. He feels that V-Day is simply a waste of time and money and that all the hard work should be spent on charity.
So why is Salman Khan so against Valentine’s Day?
Well, according to the actor, in a relationship, if the guy is slightly attracted to another person and if his girl finds out about it, she takes it in the wrong spirit and ‘rips him apart’. And this insecurity spoiles the who concept of V-Day.
Salman also revealed that during his childhood day, he has gone through the same phase of giving roses and going out on dates with girls in his area.
Salman Khan concluded saying people should not wait for a Valentine’s Day to celebrate and express love, and that all should live each day the way he or she wants.
Meanwhile, recent reports state that Priyanka Chopra has turned down Salman Khan’s offer where she was expected to play Salman Khan’s fan in Anurag Kashyap’s short film.
…And we thought Sallu and Peecee were close buddies..

Murder-3 Review

Its Vishesh Films’ new movie from their pet franchise ‘Murder’ releasing today. Vishesh Films who have always delivered sizzling erotic thrillers seem to have slightly gone off path with ‘Murder 3′.
Starting off, the story is about a girl Roshini (Aditi Rao Hydari) who decides to leave everything in South Africa to accompany her boyfriend Vikram’s (Randeep Hooda) shooting assignment in Mumbai. However after few days, she is missing and Vikram reports to the police. Within few days, Vikram gets into a relationship with a waitress Nisha (Sara Loren), and which makes police think that he is prime suspect.  The rest of the story is about getting to know the whereabouts of Roshini and unearthing secrets.
The movie starts off on a slower note and continues to be dragged. It is only near the interval the movie starts to pick up pace. However, the second half of the movie holds you on the edge of your seat.  It is much more crisper and nicely paced.  The film has a lot of loop holes and is loosely written. Considering that the movie is a remake of the Spanish thriller “The Hidden Face” which was known for its tight script and fine screenplay, Murder 3 doesn’t do complete justice to the movie. Suprisingly unlike its prequels, murder 3 doesn’t have any erotic scenes or even a murder.
Vishesh Bhatt (son of Mahesh Bhatt), does a decent job as a first time director but has a long way to go before he can do films like his dad. Randeep Hooda is good as his character keep swinging from philosophical to being romantic. Aditi Rao Hydari starts off poorly but does her role in the second half to perfection and her performances is something that you will take back. Sara Loren who debuted with forgettable Himesh’s starrer “Kajraare”  is gorgeous in this movie and provides much needed oomph. Cinematography is really good especially the scenes in South Africa. The background score is good and comprehends the movie really well. Music of the film is ok since there is no track apart from “Hum Jee Lenge” that you take back.
Over all the movie is good movie to watch, but it could’ve been way better if the story was much more grippy in the first half. I am going with 3 /5 rating for this movie.

What do you think?

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor worked together in movies like Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Rajneeti. Though we liked the tense chemistry between them in Rajneeti, their chemistry in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani seemed a little off

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan

Well, what can we say? They were a real couple after all. And all of us were rooting for them to get hitched. Their chemistry in Yuvraaj and Ek tha tiger set fire!

Katrina Kaif and John Abraham

New York. That’s what comes to my mind when we talk about Katrina Kaif along with John Abraham. And its, not for the chemistry they shared in New York but for the strong story line of the movie.

Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar

Though Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif did a lot of movies together, we could never see sparks fly. Even in the sizzling songs, like “Teri Ore”, their chemistry was strictly professional.

Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan

Well King Khan has his way in Bollywood. He can romance anyone and win hearts. Their pair in Jab Tak Hai Jaan was amazing. And the natural blush Katrina had, was it something to do with SRK?
What do you guys think?

Krish-3

Hrithik Roshan is busy in Krish-3

Hrithik Roshan is one among the Rs 100-crore club dwellers, with Agneepath making an entry to the club in Jan 2012. Following the film’s success, the superstar star was offered a lot of films. However, choosing to focus wholly on his dad’s project Krrish 3, the actor refused every other offer.
Besides Krrish 3, Hrithik is also working on his next flick, an action thriller, the Hindi remake of ‘Knight and Day’, opposite Katrina Kaif. Interestingly, Hrithik says, the film is not a remake and that it has a different take altogether. The star also refuses to divulge any further details of the film.
Jr Roshan has been missing from the big screen from quite sometime. But this year, he is all set to make a come back with a bang. “I will complete two films this year; so, I will make up for the gap. But may be I should make a resolution of doing more films in a year,” he laughs.
On a serious note, Hrithik adds, “Krissh 3 is a very special film for me and I wanted to be there with my dad all through it. I am equally involved in the post-production. I was totally focused on that and didn’t want to commit to anything during that period. Yes, it took more than a year’s time, but the nature of the film is such that it required it.”
Also, Hrithik Roshan has replaced Salman Khan in a soft drink endorsement.
“The endorsements are an extension of the real us, combined with the appeal of our screen persona. That’s why I don’t believe in endorsing anything that I am not convinced of,” adds the actor.
